Diffused-light, table lamp for interiors

The base is inspired by pipelines used in the gas
and petroleum industry and the body is made with a ceramic,
high-voltage electricity insulator which, in its industrial application,
normally has tens of thousands of volts surging through it.
The crucial components for generating electricity are merged together to create this table lamp. The touch-sensitive dimmer is enclosed in the polished stainless steel base, acting not only as an on/off switch but also allowing to regulate the intensity of the light emitted with the single touch of a finger. The product is unmistakably reminiscent of industrial aesthetics, created with components used in traditional workmanship and heavy industrial manufacturing processes. Here, these are presented in their essential form, undergoing very few modifications and hence allowing the original language to shine through without relinquishing the greatest features of contemporary lighting technology. Like living in an industrial loft which has been decorated and
furnished with contemporary elegance and design.
